MoSenseFoot

MoSenseFoot Wireless is a plantar haptic sensing system designed specifically for bipedal robots, exoskeletons and bionic platforms. Adopting lightweight wireless modules and integrated high-density Hall sensor arrays, the product captures real‑time 3D magnetic field variations and temperature compensation data during ground contact at the sole. It delivers plantar skin‑level haptic feedback for robots. Working with host software, it outputs plantar pressure distribution, contact direction and zone recognition data, serving as one of the core components of MoSense’s full-body robotic haptic skin solution.

Core Features

Wireless Low-Power Transmission:

Built on the BLE (Bluetooth Low Energy) protocol, it removes cable restraints and supports long-duration plantar data acquisition, suited for high-frequency motion scenarios such as dynamic walking and running.

High-Density Plantar Sensing Array:

Multi-channel Hall sensors cover major load-bearing areas of the sole. The system outputs temperature compensation values and three-axis magnetic field data (T/X/Y/Z) simultaneously, supplying abundant data sources for gait analysis.

Super-Resolution Algorithm with Heatmap Overlay Visualisation:

The host software embeds a vector-field super-resolution algorithm. It reconstructs sparse sensing data into high-precision force-field distribution maps and supports overlay display of heatmaps and vector fields to visualise plantar loading conditions directly.

Commercial Pain Points for Robots

What if a robot costing hundreds of thousands slips on stairs or slippery floors, collides with humans, damages flooring or breaks objects? What happens if the robot itself sustains damage?

Operational robots are hazardous machinery. For robots to achieve genuine commercial deployment, their mean time between falls must outperform humans. The sole is one of the most sensitive regions of the human body. Our smart plantar unit delivers multi-layer safeguards.
